In September 2008, we staged two one-act plays by Alan Ayckbourn. One of these, "A Talk in the Park" eventually became a last minute entry on the one-act circuit.. The play was very well received and although we were unplaced at Newtownabbey and Bangor, we were delighted to gain second place at the Castlereagh festival. Joanne Corry and Stewart Wilson were awarded Best Supporting Actress and Actor and we now go forward to the Ulster Finals in the new Braid Arts Centre in Ballymena on 24th January.
